Australia-first coverage, honestly described

Roocation is Australia-first: it analyses supported Australian business addresses. How much evidence is available varies by location and by business type, and coverage is always checked before a paid report is generated — so you find out whether an address can be analysed reliably before any payment is taken. Locations we can't yet analyse can join a waitlist.

Where Roocation works

Roocation is built for Australian addresses, Australian public data sources and Australian decision contexts. The specific cities and regions available at launch are still being finalised, and will be listed here once verified.

The evidence behind the nine sections

A report is built from several families of external, public evidence, each with its own source, geography and refresh cadence. Together they populate the nine sections every report contains — Overview, Location Context, Competition, Demand & Gaps, Demographics, Catchment, Access & Transport, Reviews and the Report Summary:

• Competitor landscape — public business listings for the direct and adjacent businesses around the address.
• Demand and market gaps — public search-interest signals and local trading patterns.
• Resident demographics — ABS 2021 Census data on age, income, households and tenure.
• Catchment and access — transit, routing and accessibility data for who can reach the address on foot, by car or by public transport.
• Public reviews — publicly available review patterns among nearby businesses.
• State and local datasets — publicly available government data that adds local context.

These are treated as sources, not partners or endorsers, and the production data providers behind them are still being confirmed. Our methodology sets out how each family is used, labelled and rated.

What "sufficient coverage" means

A location has sufficient coverage when there's enough recent public data across the core evidence families to produce a report at a stated confidence level. Coverage isn't all-or-nothing: where one family is thin for a location, that section carries a lower Data Confidence rating — High, Moderate, Limited or Not enough — rather than being filled with guesses. You always see how much the evidence supports each finding, and where it runs out.

When coverage is insufficient

Because coverage is checked before a paid report is generated, an address that can't be analysed reliably never reaches payment. If we can't produce a report you can trust, Roocation doesn't take payment for it — and you can add the location to a waitlist to be notified if coverage becomes available later.

Freshness and cadence

Different sources refresh on different schedules. Every report shows the date it was generated, and demographic figures show their source year, with the ABS 2021 Census as the floor. Monitored locations additionally show baseline, last-checked and next-scheduled-check dates, so a location you're watching stays current.
